U4IA Exhibitions presents Residual Ink by Jerome Taylor at Gritty Garms in Mermaid Beach.

Join us for the opening on Thursday 22 October, from 4–7pm, to spend an evening with Jerome’s artwork, connect with fellow creatives and support an independent artist in a local space.

Exhibitions give us an opportunity to spend time with an artist’s work in person. You can move closer, notice details and form your own connection with what’s in front of you.

Residual Ink brings Jerome’s work into Gritty Garms, inviting visitors to explore the exhibition within the Mermaid Beach store. The opening is a chance to come together around the artwork, share conversations and discover the show alongside other people.

At U4IA, we’re excited to keep connecting artists with spaces and audiences across the Gold Coast. Bringing creative work into local businesses gives people more opportunities to encounter art as part of everyday life, while building connections within our community.

If you can’t make the opening, Residual Ink will remain on display until 14 January 2027, giving you time to visit throughout the exhibition’s run. Check Gritty Garms’ opening hours before heading in for later visits.
