Hosted by Fraser Dermek, this workshop introduces participants to zines and independent publishing. Through creative prompts, brainstorming, mood boards and page planning, participants will learn how to turn an initial idea into a clear publication concept.
Participants will leave with a zine concept, mood board, content list, page plan and creative direction.

Suitable for: All ages and experience levels
A computer or laptop with your preferred design software is required.
We also encourage participants to bring:
A notebook or sketchbook and pen
Any existing artwork, photographs or writing
Magazines, collage materials or zines
Any visual references or creative inspiration you would like to use
All other essential workshop materials will be provided.
