Join U4IA for the complete four-week zine-making program at 11th Avenue Community Space, Palm Beach.

Across four Wednesday workshops, participants will work alongside local creatives to develop, design, print and assemble their own original zine. Each session covers a different stage of independent publishing, beginning with concept development and finishing with a completed publication.

The full program includes:

  • Curating and concept development

  • Design and content creation

  • Print preparation

  • Publishing and assembly

  • All essential materials and printing

  • Multiple copies of your finished zine

By the end of the program, participants will have developed practical skills in creative thinking, storytelling, visual communication, layout design, printing and independent publishing.

What to Bring

A computer or laptop with your preferred design software is required.

We also encourage participants to bring:

  • A notebook or sketchbook and pen

  • Any existing artwork, photographs or writing

  • Magazines, collage materials or zines

  • Any visual references or creative inspiration you would like to use
